Firewire FRK Plus Squash Futures Board 5.7

The FRK Plus surfboard is a classic high performance shortboard with a squash tail that has been improved with the help of Kelly since it was launched.

The most notable difference in this new Plus version is the evolution of the round tail, typical of the FRK, to a squash tail, obtaining a wider surface area at the tail of the board and greater skid when making turns. In addition, small modifications have been made to the concaves, rocker and fin placement to adjust to the increased dimensions of the new tail. The narrow nose is typical of shortboards and copies that of the original model, which maintains its reactivity. This does not mean that the paddle is less, since it has a very good exit on the wave thanks to the extra volume under the chest.

This new model supports smaller waves and is perfect for those intermediate level surfers who want to experience first-hand what it is like to have a high performance board under their feet.

The Ibolic construction combines the best features of LFT and Helium. Which makes it a stronger, lighter and higher-performance surfboard.
