We needed a board that would fit into the range of small waves, surf-friendly models, with a generous sweet spot and at the same time provide performance.
We had the perfect board right under our noses.
It's basically like the Spawn model with a reduced outline combined with a much flatter rocker which in turn gives us a much faster board.
This design has an appropriate width to facilitate wave grip and pass weak sections of the wave without problems. Its rocker is moderate. Soft to generate speed but just enough to also have performance in the pocket. Single concave under the front foot to the side fin area. Comes with 5 fin plug system.
If you used the Rare Bird we recommend the same measurements or go down 3 inches from what is your daily use shortboard.
