The BV2 we think for the summer.
A new model created from the Black Vulture. Designed to achieve more speed and enhance performance.
Here are the features of the model:
Outline: full nose for paddling power and speed on the fat, down sections of the wave. The middle section of the board is nicely curved, with its widest point located slightly further forward than a regular board. As for the tail, we take out the semi flyers that the original Black Vulture has. With the above we achieve a straighter edge line towards the swallow which gives the board grip and control throughout the turns.
Rocker: The board features a flat to medium rocker, both in and out. The tail rocker is slightly less than that of the Black Vulture which gives the BV2 a speed generating bottom.
Contours: From single concave to up to the last third of the board where it becomes a very mild double concave. A balanced and friendly bottom.
Performance: Immersed in our Research and Development program, the Black Vulture generated very good feedback and proved to have very good attributes. Performance combined with a friendly outline. The BV2 is noticeably faster. To deal with such speed we removed the semi flyers which gave the board the necessary grip and projection.
When testing the board with the team, the use of a set of twin fins + central stabilizer stood out. A very interesting combination and compatible with the straightest outline that ends in the swallow tail. Control and ease!
A thruster set also works perfectly offering more grip on turns and allowing for vertical maneuvers in the pocket.
