We wanted to make a longer board for Jaime that would be up to his bestialities. It has a full nose kick for a locked-in feel, and a wider stance for fast carving and transitional surfing. Jamie O'Brien's idea of ??fun would be terrifying to most of us, but growing up in front of Pipeline must have conditioned him from a very young age, because he happily puts himself in some of the toughest conditions imaginable. His prowess on the waves has earned him an impressive collection of titles and recognition as an elite professional, but it's his hilarious antics that have endeared him to fans around the world. His alternative surf style is legendary, an innovator of fun in everything from soft tops to inflatables. And in his garage, next to the door, is his Carver distributed by Vic Sports. So, as with everything Jamie does, joining the Carver team came from a true connection with our boards and how they are built.
