QUIKSILVER & ROXY SURF CANTABRA SCHOOL announces that all its courses, Camps and activities for this season are already activated. As in recent years, the school is open every day, throughout the year … and although many of its monitors travel in winter to train and surf all over the world, others have remained in Somo, involved in the Courses and Winter Camps.
The monitors of the Cantabra Surf School come back with the batteries loaded, after 3 months of pure surfing with very good stories and epic sessions. Very soon we will send you an account about our surfaris, with very good pictures of the trips, which we hope you like.
The CANTABRA SURF / BODYBOARD & SUP SCHOOL celebrates 24 years of teaching this year; The first surf school in Spain and one of the most prestigious schools in Europe, begins a new season teaching Surf, Bodyboard and Stand Up Paddle (SUP), for all ages and levels (initiation / improvement / competition).
From the hand of its qualified monitors and experts in Surf, first aid, aquatic rescue and first aid, thousands of students have been formed; Many of whom are surfers today.
Directed by David García ” Capi ” the School also has a powerful Surf Camp, Surf House, Hotel and Posada, as an accommodation facility for its students and with a NEW Surf Shop, refurbished and specialized, where they can acquire the latest material and Surfer clothing
This year the School has a stock of tables and impressive technical material, as well as different test tables to test.
Since its foundation in 1991, the school is located on the beach of Somo (Cantabria); A beach of more than 7Km. Of sand, that gathers excellent conditions for the practice and the learning of the Surfing. You can follow the daily surfing conditions through your Webcam.
The image of the school continues to be linked to QUIKSILVER, ROXY, SURFTECH, NSP & XPEEDIN for the next few years, with whom he has renewed his contract for the next seasons.

Finally, remember that this summer will be held on 30 and 31 August the 16th Open Championship Cantabra Surf School , on the beach of Somo, which will also have the 5 Music Festival and a big party, where you are all invited.
But before and during the whole summer there will be different surfing events on Somo beach, to promote the sport base among the youngest; Tests that will help boost surfing in the area and show many of the future promises emerging from the national surfing.
The school will also develop special CAMPS for MINORS and GIRLS during the first half of July.
